Due to the benevolence of the saints in the US, we have recently been able to send funds to Bro. Phanwanjah, who lives in Meghalaya province, which is located in north India, for purchase of land to be used to construct a chapel and dormitory facilities for conventions.
We are having difficult times supporting the gospel effort in both north and south India, since the American dollar has been devalued against the rupee, as well as most other world currencies, so money sent doesn’t buy as much as it has in the past. Also, there are beginning to be more food shortages in India, with the price of rice and other staples sharply increasing. Despite these hardships, the saints there are encouraged and are active in working for the salvation of souls in their communities. Please remember them in your love and prayers. – Ed Wilson
