Church of God Chapel and School, Politilly Bight	The school offers a Christian based curriculum, promoting character and the values of Christian living. The school is conducted in English, giving the students an opportunity to further their education while preserving their English-speaking heritage. Students attend Spanish school half a day and English school half a day.
	Students attend the Guiding Light school in Politilly, walking from within Politilly and riding from nearby Punta Gorda.
	The school was founded in 2001 and has been a real success. It has been an asset to the community. The students have made remarkable progress in their English and learning skills.
	Students are taught to read using the phonics approach.
.	Students learn to set their own achievement goals and correct their own work
	Progress is monitored to ensure the students are progressing and achieving those goals. To ask for help, a student simply raises a flag.
	A love for the children and a love for God's work make the school a wonderful place to learn.
	Students are grateful for an opportunity to attend the school. Unfortunately, some students must be turned away due to lack of room and teaching staff. The school continues to prosper, and is supported by both local staff and volunteers from the United States.
