We
enjoy having the young people visit the mission on Roatan. They
enjoy it too - Roatan is so different from the States. It is a
beautiful island. |

and have a real interest in mission work. They

This man has been a cripple all his life. He sits in his wheel chair in front of the major grocery store in Coxen Hole for hours day after day, begging for money. Some of the money given to the Church of God mission to for the poor has gone to support this man. Honduras does not have a welfare system like the one in the United States. Many of the crippled here are also very needy financially. I was touched the first time I handed him money. He could not reach out to receive it. I had to put it in his pocket for him. One time I asked him if any one had ever stolen from him out of his pocket. He told me "no". When he is given money, he receives it thankfully. |
